HYVE Events Demos today at IAEE’s Expo! Expo!

Today is the day for the expo of all expos. It’s called Expo! Expo! and is organized by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

We invite you to charge your phone (and your glasses!) while you discover truly cutting-edge, interactive mobile event apps. Stop by booth 746 to give your phone the gift of battery power, sip on the most basic and beautiful of all beverages (water!), and learn how to take your event to a whole new level with mobile technology.

At this event, we expect to see about 2,000 attendees 45% suppliers and 55% event organizers.

Our goal here is twofold:

1. Demo our HYVE Events product.

HYVE Events by DoubleDutch is a highly interactive, brandable mobile event app that engages attendees and sponsors like never before. Event organizers can control the branding, content, geo-data, rewards, and game mechanics of their HYVE Events app. One app can power multiple events, which allows the community to live on. Attendees can access all event information, customize their own schedule, view maps, connect with other attendees, and push their updates to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn — all from their mobile device.

It’s a product unlike all our competitors and we hope to demonstrate that. It’s not just an event guide (although it is that, as well). It’s the most engaging, interactive event app out there. Most of our app users access the app over 20 times per day. That’s engagement, right there.

2. Get some good booth ideas! We sell B2B and do a lot of shows, so I’m seeking ideas.

We have a large team here in Vegas — Lawrence, Pankaj, Peter, and myself (Jen). Stop by booth #746 today between 11am and 5pm to learn more, or email events@doubledutch.me if you can’t make it.

A big day ahead!

Fun

Yes, we did talk a lot about HVYE Sales and the future of mobile, social collaborative tools in the enterprise. We also did some jumproping.

The folks at UBM showed us how it’s done. Quite impressive!

Aaron did his best with what he could. Looks a bit like a gorilla, I’d say.

At the end of it all, we packed up and took home our signs before they were tossed in the trash — how resourceful! After all, we could always use some more DoubleDutch paraphernalia on the walls.

The show we well executed by the UBM team, so many thanks to them and for all their support! We look forward to the next show.

Day 2 of Enterprise 2.0 Expo

Well, day one of the Enterprise 2.0 expo down, one more day to go. Yesterday was huge at booth 218, the current DoubleDutch outpost. Lawrence gave a fantastic presentation in the Market Leaders theater at 5pm. Despite competing with the cocktail hour and having completely lost his voice, it was entirely packed and a fantastic presentation. Lucky for you, I video

As the official mobile app provider of the show, we have support staff on site to troubleshoot. Come by and ask for Aaron (tall bearded guy with glasses), if you have any issues.

There were 317 check-ins on the E2conf app before 11am, which is quite impressive for a show of this size. After the expo floor opened at noon, the app really took off. We had tons of people check-in to our booth, and are hoping for even higher numbers today.

As we walked around the floor, we saw people checking-in to sponsors and taking photos of booths, checking-in to sessions and capturing key insights from presentations. together around the app, and people taking breaks on the app. We were particularly happy to see such active use of tablets the day, we talked about the app extensively at our booth. The live activity feed from the app was projected on large monitors in the main entry way, by registration.

Check out this quick demo video highlighting the key components of the E2conf app: http:/ddut.ch/e2conf-video

If you’re attending the show, you should have gotten an email with log in credentials. If not, swing by the booth and we’ll get you set up! The E2conf app, powered by HYVE Events, has been a wild success thus far and we look forward to more fun today.

In addition to the buzz about HYVE Events E2conf app, HYVE Sales got a lot of love yesterday. You probably saw our press coverage in Information Week and Mobile Enterprise, and we’ve gotten a lot of positive response thus far.

Today, it continues! We have super slick postcards to hand out at the booth, and they are going like hotcakes. Our HYVE Sales demo video is playing on a big monitor, front and center, and people are flocking to it. Our booth was so packed yesterday that we barely had time for lunch!

Lastly, check out the “Mobile, Social, Local” panel at 1:30pm, where Lawrence will be on the panel, moderated by Mirabel Lopez.

So come on by!
