Day 2 of Enterprise 2.0 Expo

Well, day one of the Enterprise 2.0 expo down, one more day to go. Yesterday was huge at booth 218, the current DoubleDutch outpost. Lawrence gave a fantastic presentation in the Market Leaders theater at 5pm. As the official mobile app provider of the show, we have support staff on site to troubleshoot. Come by and ask for Aaron (tall bearded guy with glasses), if you have any issues.

There were 317 check-ins on the E2conf app before 11am, which is quite impressive for a show of this size. After the expo floor opened at noon, the app really took off. We had tons of people check-in to our booth, and are hoping for even higher numbers today.

As we walked around the floor, we saw people checking-in to sponsors and taking photos of booths, checking-in to sessions and capturing key insights from presentations. together around the app, and people taking breaks on the app. We were particularly happy to see such active use of tablets the day, we talked about the app extensively at our booth. The live activity feed from the app was projected on large monitors in the main entry way, by registration.

In addition to the buzz about HYVE Events E2conf app, HYVE Sales got a lot of love yesterday. You probably saw our press coverage in Information Week and Mobile Enterprise, and we’ve gotten a lot of positive response thus far.

Today, it continues! We have super slick postcards to hand out at the booth, and they are going like hotcakes. Our HYVE Sales demo video is playing on a big monitor, front and center, and people are flocking to it. Our booth was so packed yesterday that we barely had time for lunch!

Lastly, check out the “Mobile, Social, Local” panel at 1:30pm, where Lawrence will be on the panel, moderated by Mirabel Lopez.
